Kona Pedigree

Kona is one of the most complete and balanced trait bulls we have used in 40 years of breeding Angus cattle. He is the rare calving ease bull that sires muscle and growth. His sons were in brisk demand in our last two bull sales averaging over $3000. At eight years of age he continues to service over 60 females in two breeding seasons. His daughters are fertile, easy keeping, structurally sound and good mothers. Our objective is to stack generations of balanced trait cattle with all of the important economic traits. Tracker 458 is a moderate framed, high performance and heavy muscled bull that was bred in the highly respected Connelly herd where they share our philosophy of selecting cattle for economic traits under practical low-input conditions. His calves have exceeded our expectations for their consistency of muscling, growth and mature size. Take a good look at his sons in this year's offering. They are the type of bulls that are always popular with commercial bull buyers. Out of a pathfinder dam, 458 possess a strong maternal heritage. We are calving his first daughters and they look very promising.
